Wild Well Control Inc (WWCI), the world leaders in well control and subsea containment, introduced its WellCONTAINED system to key media and political stakeholders at an ‘Open House’ event at the Score Subsea and Wellhead facility in Peterhead, near Aberdeen.

The aim of the ‘Open House’ was to showcase to key audiences that WellCONTAINED is the first fully comprehensive solution within the oil and gas industry to navigate through preparedness, prevention, response and recovery in the event of a subsea well control incident. At the ‘Open House’, guests were offered not only the chance to see the assembled technology, including the wellhead capping stack, but also the opportunity to see the pipe cutting shears in action.
